  7.       This animation was produced with Cyber Paint, a video sequencer
  8. known as AVS, originally published in START Magazine and a few hours of
  9. work.
  10.  
  11.       It is an animated logo I designed for Animation Magazine.  It was
  12. done as an experiment to learn how to use the ADO features of Cyber Paint
  13. and the sequencing features of AVS.
  14.  
  15.       The sound effects were samples from REPLAY8 and they were modified
  16. sounds as I needed.  What sounds like a rocket engine is actually a dis-
  17. torted sound effect.
  18.  
  19.       There are several things I would change in the final performance
  20. if I were to do it again.  But it is fascinating to see what these pro-
  21. grams in conjunction with each other can produce.

  23.       You should find the following files on this disk:

  25.       ANIMATE.SEQ     --  Main .SEQ file done with Cyber Paint
  26.       AVSPLAYER.PRG   --  Public Domain player for AVS files
  27.       FADE2.SPL       --  Sampled Sound
  28.       GETREADY.SPL    --  Sampled Sound
  29.       LATCHROCK.SPL   --  Sampled Sound
  30.       ROCKENG2.SPL    --  Sampled Sound
  31.       MAGAZINE.AVS    --  Script file used by AVSPLAYER.PRG.
  32.       READ.ME         --  The file you are reading.

  34.       To play the sound animation, clik on AVSPLAYER.PRG.  You will see
  35. a black screen with a brief menu bar up top.  Click on LOAD from the 
  36. menu.  If you are loading from a floppy this will take a few moments.
  37. Then click on play.

  39.       If you can attach your system to a stereo the sound is much better.
  40. But you can view and hear this through the typical ST setup.

  42.       I hope you enjoy this animation and it encourages you to try  
  43. creating some more.  Please send me a sample if you do.
